Wondering if anyone has any suggestions...Bought a ticket, had to cancel before flight, rebooked it (twice, different dates, but same routing) and paid the $25.00 change fee each time. No problem. Now, in the middle of itinerary, have to (again) change the return. Return ticket I'm holding is in S and Q, STX-SJU-JFK, and all I have seen lately are $25.00 change fees on this routing..(I often have to change tickets, it seems). Today, telephone agent tells me the SJU-JFK carries a $100. fee--any way to dispute this? I argued to no avail. I did not have the latest fare rules printed, as each time I had to do the re-booking on the phone. EF says Q fare carries a $25.00 change fee for the date/route on which I am ticketed, and everyone agrees the S fee is $25. I have to pay a higher fare, which is understandable, but I don't want to get stuck for the $100. Told her I'd have to think about it, and will try another agent, but she kept saying tarrif desk wants the $100. Ideas?
