There are other ways to earn miles. Some better than others.

MrHalliday, I am interested, but I already have a personal AA citibank mastercard. I got bonus miles when I signed up, but it definitely wasn't the 25,000 they are offering now!

I've gotten a lot of miles from IDINE via AA and also by writing for IgoUgo.com. IgoUgo.com gives you points that you can trade on their site for AA miles. You travel alot. Write about it and get more points/miles for more travel.
