We were fortunate enough to see it in its off Broadway previews in Chicago. We sat in the same row as Eric Idle!

I think a 9 yr old would enjoy most of it, and it's probably a good intro to Broadway for that age group. Far better than the saccharine Disney garbage.


Maybe get him the CD ahead of time, then he will be able to follow the jokes in the songs better.
