Fly smart terms and conditions on the M&M website say nothing about the option of booking an open jaw ticket as Fly smart award.
In fact a friend of mine once did book a return ticket with OS from Vienna while having Saltzburg as his first destination, but that may have been due to the fact that Vienna is the hub of Austrian.
For example, can I book, say, LH flights to Accra as my first destination and from Nairobi as a return port (with both flights from/to St. Petersburg) for 35, 000 miles, which is a Fly Smart reward census for Central Africa from St. Petersburg?
If yes, is it universal? I mean, can I do the same thing with all M&M companies which accept Fly Smart booking or it depends on which of them I am trying to book?
Say, is it possible to redeem 35,000 award for Swiss flights to Malabo with a return flight from Dar-es-Salaam?
