As far as I know, all Amex-issued Amex cards are 2%, from the humble Optima (if that even still exists) to the mighty Centurion. That would include the SPG AmEx. But I don't have an SPG Amex so I can't be certain. Amex has been reported to give worse exchange rates than Visa/MC, but a friend's recent trip to Japan yielded very good rates on his Amex Corporate Card.
It's still unclear what exactly is charged on the MBNA and Citi issued Amex cards. Please let us know if you find out so we can add it to the Wiki.
