He's right on about Delta. They should have learned their lesson in the early 1990s when PDX was their trans-Pacific hub and all of a sudden they were flying to practically every city between Seoul and Bangkok (including 3 in Japan alone). After a couple of years, they started shedding cities, and by 2001, they had stopped flying internationally from PDX at all.
