I'm about to leave Bali for SIN and I thought I'd give you all a brief report. First of all, the weather has been GREAT lately. Second, hardly anyone is here. The place is quite empty.

I'm at the Intercontinental in Jimbaran which is a really, really, really nice hotel. For Club guests, they have a Club at the airport and they escort you through immigration and customs. No lines and a cool lemongrass drink in the club followed by a smooth ride to the hotel in a Jaguar. Free eats and drinks anytime you want in the Club. While we sampled that, we of course left this fine resort to see the real Bali and eat real Balinese food.

We rented a scooter to drive around to Nusa Dua, Kuta, etc. Lots of fun. For me, a scooter is the only way to get around this part of Bali. I'm happy that this is the low season. I don't think I'd like it here during the high season.
