Some people say that AS service is better than AA. Also, AS has nonstops from Puerto Vallarta to SFO, cutting out the DFW transfer. However, AS does not service ACA, closest is Ixtapa/ZIHuatenejo, 200 km west. It's worthwhile only if U want to travel some within Mexico.
