I don't recall the exact ratios, but won't the KF Gold card give you more miles per $ than the Platinum charge card? Remember to factor in that if you spend more than S$5,000 per year on the gold card, you'll get 50% more miles (although this is a promotion that, should they decide to, can be discontinued).

If you are planning on making PPS, also consider the PPS platinum card.
