The GA has 3 seats left (2 up front and 1 in the back). They have 3 standbys ( a single and a couple). The single is elite so they offer he/she the option to upgrade after which they'll split the couple. However, the single elite turns it down, so the single goes in back and the couple in front in a gesture of keeping like with like.
