Considering the strong ties within the Japanese industry and the major contribution to Boeing, it does not surprise me that they stay away from a plane like the A 380 which would be needed desperately...

If the translation of the soon to become CEO of JAL is correct, there has never been a CEO talking so much crap...looking at the last years of JAL however, it does not surprise that they lost the overview...
