He didn't say how much in advance he was trying either of those. Thus, I asked if anyone knew at what point UA cuts off online and phone sales, why they might not wait until sooner before departure, and why it should be different for online and on the phone if it is in fact different.)
A ticket agent told me that not a phone agent. I think 2 hours is a fair cut off. it is one hour to check in online. I have never tried to do it over the phone as the one time i did the indian call center charged my CC for a flight that left at 6am, when it was already 10am I don't know the reason they have a cut off except that airport control?
