I tried a search for this, but most thread I found were about spending miles on EK, rather than earning them. After going back to 2001 and not finding anything, I figured it was safe to start a new thread.

I've just completed a MUC-DXB-BKK-DXB-MUC roundtrip, giving EK my OP number for the miles (just under 12K by my count). I was wondering how long it takes for miles earned from Emirates flights to post, since I would like to use them for an award soon.

Does anyone have any experience with EK flights, especially flights other than the LGW-DXB codeshares? How long a wait would be normal? At what point should I send in my boarding passes if nothing's arrived yet?
