Stayed at the Mauna Kea, but not the others. We did enjoy that Mauna Kea had a very nice beach as was mentioned by others and also a small thing - it has a well manacured grass area just behind the beach if the beach is too hot / you have too much sun / or you just prefer to sit in a chair on the grass.
In general I would say Mauna Kea was great and we enjoyed the trip, although if you are a real hotel connesiour (sp?) you might think that 1) the architecture / physical structure is a little outdated - has a very 70s feel to it and 2) the breakfast buffet that was included was a little bit of a disappointment - fine assortment of food, but somewhat crowded and had to wait for a table at peak times. Also, if you like to exercise, gym is worthless - have to go across to the sister hotel to use theirs which is nice.
