I miss the good old pre 911 days. Did about 10 jump seat rides from ORD-MBJ on AJ, just told the captain that I was a pilot (single engine private type) and asked if I could sit in for the landing. The FA would find me over Cuba and take me up front..Awsome. Also did it on takeoff from MBJ and 1 night landing into ORD. No luck post 911. The scary thing in retrospect is that only once did they ask for my ticket--and even then I could have been anyone.
