I'm revisiting this post because I called SQ yesterday to ask them how full SQ319 LHR-SIN @18:30 on 19 May was, expecting them to say there were only a few seats left. I thought this as I called a few weeks back and was told it was near capacity by the Eastern European call centre. I kind of believed them at the time as the prices went up around the same time.

To my pleasant surprise I was told by the SQ agent in London yesterday that there was lots of capacity in economy. I checked on KVS llite and that seems to back that up. Trouble is that the SQ agent wouldn't or couldn't give me a precise figure. Is this because they too can only tell when a particular booking class has gets below 9 seats? I'm really hoping this flight is half full so I can have a chance to crash out in the middle row seats.
