the staff is excellent, and the treatment was great.

i am just talking about the rooms. the old suites are dated and OLD.
the renovated suites are ok, but still not up to the expectation i had after i came over from the conrad tokyo.

have you been to the conrad tokyo? you cant compare the two conrads, they are playing in different leagues.

one thing, compared to the conrad hongkong i thing the hilton phuket has better rooms , even it is a CAT1 (will change toCAt2 in june).

i wouldnt say after seeing the rooms of the Hkg conrad that it a real luxury hotel.
because the conrads are marked as the high quality brand of hilton, it should meet the expectations of the customers.
sure some hotels are older than a newly built one, but than the rooms have to be renovated to meet the chains requiremens. because the conrads have different standards, they are not popping up on the high luxury rankings .
