Say, for example, you play $25 hands of blackjack for 40 hands, will that give you the same comping ability as walking up and putting $1000 in one hand, or $500 per hand for two hands?
At the start of your trip, for example, could you "invest" $300 into your holiday by making one quick bet, catching the eye of the gaming manager, and then asking about comping?
Theoretically the two situations are the same in that they give the house the same theoretical win. In practice, you won't get any comps with the flash-in-the-pan method. It will take them a while to collect your player card from the table, open a rating slip, etc.
