I've since returned to aa.com and read the details but the information on the USA Today web site reads differently. I tried calling their office but unfortunately, their office is not open on weekends.

The banner at the USA Today web site reads:

Now you can earn miles all year
long just by reading a newspaper!
Sign up for a home or office
subscription to USA TODAY and earn
2200 AAdvantage Miles!
It's only $12.95 per month with
the four week EZ-PAY plan, and
you'll earn another
100 AAdvantage Miles
when your subscription renews
every four weeks.

Admittedly, 2200 miles sounds "too good to be true." But that's how I read their banner. Their advertisement indicates "and you'll earn another 100 miles..... "Does anyone else see it that way?

I did attempt to order with this (2200 mile ) offer and the second page indicated the base bonus is 1000 miles. I went on and ordered from the 1500 mile offer.

Incidentally, my confirmation email indicates that I'm signed up for the EZ-PAY renewal even though I indicated on the order form that it was a one time order.
