I am AC Elite but with little over 12k miles for this year; since I may be moving to Asia in the next year or so I will drop US' Chairman's Preferred this year and requalify only UA 1K; I want also to keep one SkyTeam Elite. Last year I requalified with AC early so I didn't get any fast-track offer; if it was offered to foreign based member I will risk and fly one more AC flight this month, then wait in late october to make another flight that would bring me around 30k. If it was not offered to any foreign based member I will keep my original idea and wait between January 1st and February 28th to fly the 35k during that time.
