Presume I could just set up the intinerary from the Uk with BA and inform them that I was starting in MRU & paying in Mauritian rupees. So do you really ned a TA in MRU? Turn up at the BA office at MRU and hand over the BA Amex?

What is the TA contact anyway please.

You thinking of doing an MU originator?

You're welcome to try that. My opinion, gleaned from reading postings here, is that BA is suddenly quite hostile to that approach. I believe I read that BA North America recently quoted a traveler North American rates for an ex-IST trip he attempted to arrange that way, and I believe people who called BA in London with similar requests were told something like that. Look through the archives and decide what you think.
