The Bad--
I was not impressed with the service at the CP Ventura--When they coded my card it was only good for one day out of two that I was there--so the next day when I headed up to enter the room I was locked out. Upon checking with the front desk there was some confusion about my reservation. Confusion seemed to be common each time I can down to the desk.
I still feel as though it was an HI--None of teh extra Ammenities-about the only thing it has going for it was the proximity to the beach (And also the Trains :-) I can put up with some minor things when paying HI prices but not when it is doubled to the current CP prices.
The Good
I was upgraded to one of their Executive Suites--Nice sized room that wraps around the elevator as stated earlier in this thread. The restaurant across from the plaza is very nice.
