Ooops, after having to play with the reservations again this afternoon, I figured out what I was doing wrong, I was logging into My Southwest, going to itineraries and clicking on the "change itinerary" link. That's when I got the error message.
But when I went into the Travel Center and used the "change reservation" link and typed in the confirmation # and MY name, I was able to work with the reservation.
As far as not having an overseas call center, they may be in the USA, but the person I talked to this morning had a middle eastern or Indian accent.
