Thanks.
I was just visited Buenos Aires about 2 weeks ago and fell in love with the city, people, food, leather goods, shopping, white people all speaking spanish, etc. I have never been to Spain but decided to visit BA because of the strong US$$. The most expensive dinner we had ran about $30 for two which includes bottle of wine, appetizer, salad, 2 HUGE steaks, desert, 2 big bottle water, and 10% tips.

Shopping was a delight for us. We bought jeans that would normally cost $60 in the U.S. cost us about $20 in BA.

BA is a very cosmopolitan city. It is true what they say about BA being the "Paris" of South America but more charming.

Like the other members said before, there are not a lot of sights to see but just visiting a beautiful city with all the decors and european charm feel is good enough for me. I am sure there are lots of other sights to see but just couldn't fit it all in on a 1 week period. We actually spent 4 nights in Rio De Janeiro before visiting BA.

I would definitely visit BA again soon.

By the way, someone else said airfare to Spain was cheaper than BA. Well, i bought a ticket on TAM(s.america biggest carrier i believe). I thought my ticket to BA was ALOT CHEAPER. My itinery were as follows:

MIA-SAO-RIO staying 4 nights in RIO 4/20-24
RIO-SAO-BUE staying 7 nights in BUE 4/24-5/1
BUE-SAO-MIA flying back to the U.S.

Total cost for ALL FLIGHTS above? $612.50 roundtrip including ALL taxes & fees.

So, we were able to visit 2 wonderful cities/countries for one very good airfare.

Have fun in Madrid. Would love to hear about your trip so maybe i can give Spain a try next time i am back in Europe.
