Not only that but it was a good thing that LY has AMs on ALL their flights. As a yr or 2 ago a person did board , and try to get into the cockpit,It was on a LY flight from TLV!!! to Cypus or Greece.
So as good as they are they arent perfect, at least they got the guy in time before he was able to do anything airborne. Thats why they want to keep it like an onion, many layers so if 1 layer messes up its not Doomsday yet. needless to say it could hav ebeen alot worse, and thats why LY tries its best to stop it on the ground.
