edited to add. 777 (all variants) have greater capacity than A340 - so I guess A346 makes more sense for a smaller destination like NZ.
I can't find anything in the schedule about the 777 deployed to MEL. Am quite worried cause I really need the miles in F for status purposes. Maybe I should just wait patiently for a call from them to rebook me. As far as I can see, all 777s are 2 class...
