That was the reason I asked. I'm thinking if UAL has, say, 6 seats set aside on a flight to OGG for their own FFers, then perhaps, since DL has to pay UAL for Skymiles members using 35,000 miles for their UAL award ticket (done through DL), just maybe UAL would set aside more than 6 for the Skymilers since they generate some revenue. Btw, I'll use your tip and check on UAL's website re availability, but I doubt it's possible since I don't belong to their FF program. Thanks.
