Ok, I understand the floors have to be cleaned, but such a prominent sign informing us that they are disinfected? Regularly? Why? What gets on the floor, and so much of it, so frequently?

Hi
As others have said it was all down to the mass shoe removal days. Oh the joys. I was at the airport the day that the main issue with securtiy kicked off and had to fly back out 24hrs latter what a shambles it was.

At DUB they still do ask the occasional pax to remove boots etc, bascially anything with a large thick heel, thats why I stopped wearing my CAT ankle boots and started just wearing flat sport shoes.

As for the cleaning, well I have heard a number of folk in the past complain that the floor was sticky and dirty and that it was not good at all with the thought you could catch something.

Anyway, on Tuesday morning things were not bad at all, apart from the usually FOOLS who dont read the signs, or listen to the announcements or dont look at the tv screens and keep their coats on til the last minute, laptops in their cases and their brains up their bums. Send them to the back of the Q.

regards
