Later got a call from the front desk and was told that they could give me my Starwood Platinum upgrade to a suite. Suite was great with a seperate living room. Overall I would say the rooms are as nice as any W Hotel I have stayed in previously. Only negative is that the windows seem to be very cheap and you get some road noise because of this. Some complain about the A/C units but I didn't find this bothersome. Definitely not a dump like someone had posted before!!!
I'm glad you had a good time. I've not stayed there, but I did attend a cool PR event at the hotel and the service could not have been better and the male cater/waiters couldn't not have been more handsome.
