From the West Coast to LHR for a daytime DEL arrival transfer, it works out even better than from the East Coast. The c. 8.30 p.m. AA flight from LAX gets into LHR at around 3 p.m. and then the BA flight leaves for DEL around 5 p.m. The connection time this way is actually scheduled for 140 minutes, which is just perfect for me (to get through LHR security rescreening, to get a shower at the lounges and something to eat, and then head to boarding).
