I am a DL platinum and just the other day used the NWA lounge at LGA because of the free WiFi. I didn't have my platinum card, and I was on an award ticket, so they called over to the DL lounge to confirm my skymiles number was eligible. They let me in cheerfully and with no problem after that. ^
