I was SPG from AmEx Platinum, but was downgraded to some Starwood business plan when I let that AmEx lapse, despite the fact that I had just become OP Gold. And never got any Hyatt offer. So how might they be selecting recipients of these offers? Should you just call and say I'm OP Gold, what could you do for me? I'm also a longtime Starwood AmEx player.
