Changing a Restricted Ticket to Y
It is my understanding that there is no change fee to go from a restricted fare to a Y fare or a first fare. I was wondering what would happen if I buy a restricted ticket, later pay the fare difference to a full Y which is now refundable and then later decide to refund it. How does Delta handle such a transaction? Would I receive a voucher for the entire amount or a refund or a combination there-of? Thanks!
