Not only that, but find out what your home bank is going to charge to use foreign ATM's. You don't want to be surprised. Although my bank doesn't charge a fee, there are some out there that charge $3-5 per transaction, or a percentage of the transaction. I left my last bank when they went to a $1.25 fee PLUS 2% of the transaction (so it cost $3.25 to get $100 in the local currency). Now I don't get charged anything.
