HKG transfers
Confirming the above, I go through HKG frequently and 30 seconds to 20 minutes is the answer. However, all transfers can be achieved airside if bags are through tagged. If it is a long transfer, then you may have to wait for the airside desks to open, roughly 2.5 hours prior to flight. CX open most of the time but the lower frequency carriers are not.
If you are BA gold, then you can ask CX to allow you to have a transfer BP and then you can go to lounge, otherwise, you are stuck waiting for the desks to open.
