She wanted to know how to upgrade a coach ticket with miles and how many miles it cost. I told her (and the passenger who was asking) that it was 15K miles for region 1 on valid coach fares and that it was 8K miles if booked into B or Y.

I didn't mention that some B and Y's automatically upgrade since I already told them more than they wanted to know.

Also, the pax needs to commute between PDX and DFW, sometimes PDX and IAH. I asked why he didn't just fly nonstops with AA or CO. How disloyal I am!
