I've flown with my dog where the pet-in-cabin fee ($80) was greater than the cost of my ticket ($69 all-in, this was SEA-SJC)...

I recall that in October 2000 a pig flew in F on US...

Not sure what this has to do with UA thought?

As for the IDB question. I'd do a search on "Customers of Size" because we've surely had this discussion before on what happens when an extra seat is IDBed.
