I agree, and generally I have found Emirates' service to be consistant. I am simply saying that you can't expect it as your birthrite. I have had one off times with airlines as well.
If it is really bad, I will complain or
switch carriers to something that provides a service that I like more rather than remaning with that carrier and being constantly unhappy. If I can't find any carrier that makes me happy - then my demands aren't reasonable with regards to the airline.
An example:
If someone had lie-flat business class seats as their top priortiy when flying - they would not stick to Emirates because not even 1 of their planes has it.
