My wife and I recently flew back on AA from FCO to JFK and we were quite unhappy with the experience. The seats were quite old and uncomfortable. The food was poor and the FA's were surly. Also the entertainment system, i.e. the portable DVD's are a joke. There were only two positives, the fresh baked cookies and the purser coming around the cabin to personally thank everyone for flying AA. That was a class act. However I think that AA trans-Atlantic service is quite inferior to Continental's BusinessFirst and Delta's BusinessElite
