I agree. That is why airline's don't advertise "you will get the best food in the world. guaranteed." Emirates advertises things that may sound extravagant - like 7 course meals in First, and as hard as it is to believe, the deliver that. Food quality is also quite subjective in my experience. On one flight, I heard passengers raving about the Blueberry Pancakes, which I had found inedible.

Yes, but in the world of economics there is
supply as well as demand. If a customer demands a Rolex for $5, he isn't going to get one. Obviously people can expect things, but if it isn't profitable for the seller, it's not going to happen.
