Thanks for allaying my fears. The connection was a breeze, even though I had to check in at the AA desk in SAN since the AS desk in PDX couldn't check me all the way though. I think it was because there was an int'l connection. However, I was unexpectedly upgraded PDX-SAN, so no complaints here!
