You have D and C the wrong way around.
C is changeable, by upgrading to J.
D is non-changeable, often no advance purchase required
I is for cheap b*stards, and often with an advance purchase requirement
The specifics vary route by route
(Note - C is the fully flexible fare for bookings starting in Eur and routing through London)
