In a nutshell: tickets will bear the passengers' name. If it shows YOUR name, then Mama ain't gettin on the plane.

For your purposes ~ booking a ticket in HER name using YOUR miles is perfectly acceptable & done all the time. You don't have to 'transfer' the miles to her account.
Midwest procedures may require a phone call, at worst.
