Well, of that group of 4* hotels (by current standard) built in the 60's and 70's, you can still stay at the Marco Polo Hong Kong (used to be just the "Hong Kong Hotel"). It's now the flagship of the very decent Marco Polo chain, and the rooms are large and nice. Location is of course great as it always have been. The Harbour City/Ocean Terminal/Gateway shopping arcade has also been constantly upgraded.

And in Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island, the Excelsior and Parklane are both also still around.
