Say I fly Alitalia, and am Skyteam elite +, can I still go to either Alitalia or Air France (assuming that there are both lounges at an airport) or am I confined to the lounge of the carrier I am taking.
Flying AZ, I have been able to use the AF lounges in MXP and FCO. This does not mean that it is a general rule, however. In addition, the real test would have been if I were an non-AF SkyTeam Elite +.
