And the "I" fare keeps you in the J cabins on others' flights (even if sometimes that includes cr@ppy Club Europe and their ilk.) E.g. last year we used a decently priced I for SFO-LAX-LHR-ATH <open jaw> IST-LHR-ORD-SFO during summer madness.
