Yeah, I know definitely no miles or points for the room. But even with just a basic SPG card, I've always gotten a room on the SPG floors in various Westins. So, I'd think they may still give upgrades to SPG Gold, if available.

Edit: And I mean booking through Priceline/Hotwire and just showing the card at check-in.
