I agree. Time and time again we've wished on here they would waive the offline fee for bookings one cannot complete online - either due to the system being down temporarily (like this or like the MFU to JFK I did last month) or when it's simply impossible (like the AmEx 2:1). The AmEx 2:1 fee waiving is a great step in the right direction, but there are still other times when the offline fee is very unfair and BA's total inflexibility on the issue absolutely maddening Whilst we're ranting, don't get me started (again) on the CC fee being applied to bookings made with BA's branded and promoted AmEx cards...
