Diarrhoea is usually self limiting, but as a rule prokinetics arn't best taken when your suffering from it. Prokinetics can however help with nausea, but throwing up when sick can actually be a good thing, particularly if food poisoning is involved!
FWIW, I won't touch Metaclopramide. Side affects in my case are pretty nasty. Domperidone is much easier to tolerate and can often be purchased in small amounts over the counter if you really want to go down this path (which I still would not recommend).
