BA IT Glitch costing us money - Not Particularly Fair

Hi,

Sorry to start a new thread on this but thought it may be of interest for people to know that there is a 'known' BA IT problem booking some WTP award flights from the system.

I have being trying to book an LHR-TLV WTP award fare for a future date but have been failing miserably (both WT and CW work fine though)

After doing the rounds and politely being suggested that I was in the wrong - I found out that I couldn't book a one-way WTP award due to a known IT problem (yet unknown how long this would be fixed).

What irritates me is that I was politely told that I would have to book the TKT by phone with the additional £15 per ticket addition even though I wanted to book it online and save on the expense. I was told that nothing can be done and that the money is physically taken at the booking.

Taxes are high enough for this 'Award' tkt but an additional £15 for an error on BAs side is just unfair.

I apologise for the rant

J
